The Bedford skincare line is inspired by our family history and the botanicals we use in our body soaps. Derek’s great-great grandmother was an herbalist and the tradition of using herbs and botanicals has continued in the family. We believe in using organic and all-natural products with ingredients you can pronounce and you know immediately what they are.
Our skincare products are either botanically infused or still contain the full organic botanicals. We have 3 years of research and development behind our skincare products and we believe our products are superb. Our skincare is very complex, we found the best quality oils, botanicals and other ingredients so that you will see results. We use oils that penetrate your skin quickly so that after application you will not be left with an oily complexion or oily hands.
It makes a huge difference when you use a product that was specifically created for your skin type. We designed 3 different lines of facials so that you can choose the one best for you. Many like to try the facial kits first and then move into the larger full sizes.
Our facial kits contain: 1 oz. body oil, 1 oz. liquid cleanser, 1 oz. toning elixir, .50 oz. cleansing grains, .50 oz. clay mask and .125 oz facial serum. Each kit comes with a muslin bag, perfect for travel, and will provide 4 - 5 full facial treatments with some cleanser and toning elixir left over. You may have a combination complexion or find that you need a different facial kit during different times, seasons or even locations. This you will find through trial and seeing what your skin needs. The Toning Elixir may also be used on the body, it’s great to mist onto different body parts before applying the Body Oil. It provides a smooth glide and helps to lock in the moisture. They are both wonderful to use after shaving your legs. Our Toning Elixir and Body Oil are great to use during the winter on your hands, arms and legs, or as a daily moisturizer after bathing. We recommend that men use the Toning Elixir and Facial Serum on their face. Our Body Oil is a fantastic alternative to body creams or lotions as it too penetrates and soaks into the skin quickly. It is a year-round must have for those with dry skin and really helps dry elbows, knees and heels.
Our Bedford candle line is also inspired by the herbs and botanicals we use. They are made with 100% soy wax, phthalate free fragrances and cotton wicks. The glow illuminates the beautiful amber jar when lit. They will burn clean for 40 hours.
The full list of ingredients and directions for use are on each product. All products come in amber glass with easy to open lids and convenient application tops. They are housed in a box for an elegant display.
